Hello Bad Dog Hats fans! At the end of the year we count it all up, as many of us do, and compare to past years and plan for coming years. In 2011 we had record sales, thank you to all of you who passed out our cards to your friends.

: We also had the great god fortune of having our Fez chosen for an episode of Warehouse 13, and in partnership with our sister company www.LuckyDayHats.com we had hats for both the dog guest star and Artie! Our Fez are artifacts in the Warehouse! With these fez you could supposedly put it on and read the dog’s thoughts, crazy! and we were honored to be part of it.; Thank you all for helping make Bad Dog Hats bigger and better this year, and we hope to be even better next year!

Get your pooch ready for his Barkmitzvah with this blue Yarmulke complete with embroidered Star of David! As with all our hats, it is held on with elastic over the ears and a ribbon tie under the chin. Made in the USA of fabric which is made out of recycled plastic bottles! Small Medium and Large.

Thanks so much for all the orders! The word is getting out because weve gotten twice as many orders as last year, and the year isint over yet! Do you have a formal do for the holidays? Your furry friend wants to get dressed up too! This nice cheerful, glittery taffeta Tie is the right thing for him to wear!

In red and green checks, or red plaid, with white collar. Collar had D-Ring for attaching lead, and adjustable SR buckle closure.

Hi Bad Dog Hats fans, we got such a nice letter today we thought we would share it-

Hi!

The hats arrived today and I could not be more thrilled! They are just what
I was looking for and more then I could have hoped for. Thank you so much! I
have to review how to put them on. I did sit them on top of their heads and they
are a perfect fit!

So now we will give a quick refresher course in “How to put a hat on your Dog”

How to put your hat on your Dog!

To get the right fit, first place the hat on your dog’s head,
noting where the ear loops are. One of the ear loops has a ribbon tied to it,
and you will use the ribbon to tie to the other ear loop, But I am jumping
ahead.

Again with the hat on your dog’s head, hold one ear loop
with one hand, and the ribbons in the other hand. Measure loosely under his
chin to the ear loop without the ribbons and
hold that place on the ribbons. Tie a simple
overhand knot, tying both ribbons together
at the place where the
ribbons met the ear loop.

Now using the ribbons separately, tie them to the ear loop without
the ribbon. You can tie a simple knot then tie a bow if you like.

The hat is ready to put on! With the ear loops being
elastic, and the ribbon now customized for your dog, you can easily pull the
hat on over your pooches’ nose and pull his ears through the ear loops,
and his hat is on!

Please note that the seam should be in the back. On berets
the seam in in the band and on top hats it is up the back of the crown of the
hat. On some dogs the hats sit better if
the ear loops are just in front of the dog’s ears. Experiment with what works
on your dog.

Remember to reward your dog with treats for keeping his hat
on!

Collars and scarves are adjustable, but it helps to know your dogs neck size before ordering, using a fabric tape measure, measure loosely around your pets neck. Our sizes come in 3 basic sizes:

Small - fits necks 7” to 11”
Medium - fits necks 10” to 18”
Large - fits necks 17” to 30”

Scarves are a little more forgiving and will fit a wider range, still it is probably a good idea to measure first!
Small - fits necks 6″ to 15″
Medium - fits necks 10″ to 22″
Large - fits necks 16″ to 32″
